Step 1: Crash course tutorials

Watch six in-depth Crash Course video tutorials, which will cover everything from visual scripting basics to more advanced skills. We’ll be posting these videos on the Effect House YouTube channel. To learn more about these six videos, check out our Crash Course pages.

Also, be sure to join the Effect House Community Forum and Discord to share effects you create, ask questions about the course, and receive technical support from our Effect House team.

Step 2: Live workshops

Tune into 2 weeks of live workshops hosted by the Effect House team on our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe to the Crash Course program calendar so you don’t miss out!

Step 3: Effect Creation Competition

After learning visual scripting basics from our Crash Course program, submit your own effect into the Effect Creation Competition by May 6, 2024 for a chance to win exciting prizes!

Prizes

• New Creator Bonus: New Effect House creators will get the chance to unlock a New Creator Bonus of up to $30, depending on your region.
• Rookie Rockstar Award: Outstanding creators will be featured on the Effect House website and on our social media channels.

How to enter

1. Download the free Effect House desktop tool.
2. Create and submit an original effect using Visual Scripting. On the submission page, select #CrashCourseVS under the Tags (optional) section.
3. Post a TikTok video using your effect with the hashtag #CrashCourseVS.

Submission end date: May 6, 2024

Winner announcement date: May 31, 2024

Step 4: Certification celebration
